From the beginning, Grace's mission for Thermomix® in New Zealand was to make a difference in people’s lives.
Each year in New Zealand we waste 103,000 tonnes of food. Despite this, 21% of Kiwi children live in households where food runs out sometimes or often. These are stats that together, we can help change.

When you host a demo between 11 April and 15 May, we’ll donate 20 meals to to KiwiHarvest or OzHarvest (our Australian partner).

Through this initiative we’ve aiming to donate 100,000 meals across Australia and New Zealand by 15 May.

Kiwi Harvest helps by redistributing surplus foods to those in need. Every $5 donation feeds a family of 4 for 3 meals a day. Every month KiwiHarvest rescues 170,000 - 200,000Kg of good quality surplus food, and diverts this back to people who are struggling across New Zealand.

Right now, more people than ever are struggling to put food on the table. A donation of $10 to KiwiHarvest = 20 meals.
One third of all food produced is lost or wasted each year. Annually, NZ wastes enough good food to feed the entire population of Dunedin or Northland – $1.7 billion worth of food.
Decomposing food in landfill produces methane - a greenhouse gas that contributes to climate change.
Households waste over $1,500 of food annually.
The most wasted foods are veggies, bread, fruit, salad and leftovers.

To qualify for a donation, Demos must be held between 11 April and 15 May 2024 and have a minimum of either:
(a) three separate households, including the host, who check in their attendance; or
(b) the host and another household who purchases a TM6 at the Demo, who check in their attendance.
